For a leading global dairy player in Lagos Nigeria.

This role provides professional accounting services for managing the operations of the Finance and Accounts department based on company procedures, in compliance with corporate audits’ requirement and statutory reporting.
Key Accountabilities:
Review and manage all general ledger operations.
Plan and organize monthly closing, ensuring that all activities in FICO closing end- to-end checklist are timely and accurately carried out, preparation, presentation and clarity of submission of monthly specifications within reporting timeline.
Primary documents and data accuracy: Review and approve monthly accruals, provisions and other monthly charges in the general ledger for completeness, accuracy, consistency and integrity of transactions.
Coordinates the activities of the external/corporate internal auditors and ensures that all queries are satisfactorily answered during the audit according to Corporate C&F and statutory requirements in order to minimize the number of Management review points.
Assist in ensuring vacancies within are filled by competent employees and the performance measurement & appraisal, training and development transfer, rotation and promotion are properly managed line with corporate guidelines.
Monthly analysis of financial statements and performance of analytical procedure with insight into the Company financials. This includes ratio analysis, comparison with peer companies in Nigeria and report from time to time.
Play active role in ensuring company compliance with relevant financial and reporting rules and regulations prescribed from time-to-time by regulating bodies.

Requirement:

B.Sc./HND degree in any discipline with minimum of second class lower degree/upper credit
Must be a chartered accountant/MBA/CMA with minimum of 6years post qualification experience preferably from FMCG
